Great quality, style.,
The harness itself is great – well made, quality materials, cute – but information on size seclection is iffy. I measured the size large harness I ordered. The neck opening is 15″. The dog’s head needs to fit through this, and this is not adjustable. The chest measurement at the smallest setting is 20.5″. It will easily adjust to considerably larger, at least 27″, possibly a little more.
I have a bichon, 18 pounds, 13.5″ neck – wears a size 14″ collar – 20″ chest – all measurements taken when his coat is clipped to a half inch length. The size large harness is slightly loose on him with the chest strap adjusted as small as it will go. The top portion of the harness fits, but loosely. I suspect a medium would have fit better, but plan to keep this one, possibly take a couple of inches off the chest strap and re-attach the hardware so I’ll have a little more flexibility. Bichons seem to vary between a medium and large size, so am hoping these specific measurements might help someone know which size to select for their dog.

Sizing needs improvement,
I MUCH prefer this to a collar or stiff harness. It is soft and flexible, but strong. The dog doesn’t have any pulling on his neck or scratching issues like he did with collars and other harnesses. I can even use it as an emergency “lift” without doing any bodily damage to my little guy.
But….
I have a Cavachon who is between sizes. I bought medium and large. The medium is a bit too tight to go comfortably over his head and ears, and the large is a bit too big causing it to twist on his body as he walks. It works better with a flex leash, but with a fixed leash, it twists when the dog walks. He pulls to the right or left, it twists. Not sure what the solution would be, but I THINK a size between or some adjustment strap at the collar section could solve the problem. I walk him on a fixed leash, mostly, so he doesn’t trip his elderly German Shepherd sister, so I have to keep stopping to adjust it. Any solutions out there would be welcome!
As I said before, even with the twisting problem, it is better than other collars or harnesses.
