I was a little nervous to use this retractable type leash after reading the warnings all over the packaging and the insert. Things like burning or cutting your skin if this thing snaps back on you. So when I tried it I was pretty cautious, but I soon got the hang of it. I did find that my dog got it wrapped around his legs several times..don’t know if that was my fault or not. In the beginning, the lock was hard to engage.
I did like that my dog had more room to roam and was not pulling me as much because of this. By the way, I have a 9 month old Golden Retriever named Jack. In his opinion, no leash is a good leash.
